Dr. Judith Allen has been associated with DoDDS since 1982. Having taught grades 1, 5, 6, and 7, Dr. Allen was promoted to Elementary administration in 1991. She became a Principal in 1996 and accepted the Chief of Staff position in the Isles District in 2005. In 2006, she was selected to serve as the Assistant Superintendent of the district. Dr. Allen has served in elementary schools in Spain, Turkey, Okinawa and Germany. She has a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, earned in 1982. Dr. Allen received an MS in Public Administration from Troy State, European Division, in 1988 and earned her Ed. D. Educational Leadership from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1991.

Originally from Maryland, Dr. Allen is the wife of a retired AF officer, mother of three children, one of whom is a MSgt. USAF, assigned as an instructor to the Kisling NCO Leadership Academy, Kapaun, Germany. She is also a grandmother of five grandchildren, three of whom attend Ramstein schools in Germany. She enjoys aerobics, travel, gardening and cooking. The move to England – number 34!
