Career Practicum

Career Practicum is an integral part of the school curriculum for all DoDDS students whether they are pursuing a college or university degree, military service, technical training, or immediate employment after completion of high school.
Career Practicum is a living demonstration of the concept that education is community-wide responsibility. This program extends student educational opportunities beyond the curricular, physical and financial resources of the school.
Career Practicum offers the students opportunities to explore their career goals through practical experiences in their chosen cluster.

A well-planned and supervised work experience provides an effective transition from the classroom to the world of work. The result is that the base/post installation and the local community become part of the student’s education.
